The DVP, Marketing is a business and functional leader responsible for (1) overall marketing objectives and strategy to enable the company’s growth targets; (2) key initiative development across partners, customers and new markets; (3) executional excellence and performance/goal setting; (4) agency and 3rd party resource management; (4) marketing budget planning and management; and (5) organizational capability and development across people, process and tools.

This role will work directly with the executive team to deliver on business objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Build a world class marketing function that embraces innovation and delivers top and bottom line results. Bring new ideas, creativity, and insights to be leveraged across all channels and touchpoints (digital, in-store, experiential).
  • Develop and align marketing objectives, goals, strategies, annual budget and key initiatives plan. Ensure alignment of all strategies, tactical programs, communications, and activities across marketing channels. Establish key performance indicators and targets across teams, including reporting on results.
  • Understand, shape and continually evolve customer journeys. Focus on KPIs (retention, acquisition, customer lifetime value) to drive growth across the short, mid and longer term horizon. Ensure a customer first mindset across teams.
  • Lead efforts to understand our customer and competitors. Build and operate a robust insights organization focused on data and business intelligence for strategic analyses to drive decision making across the organization and to strengthen the effectiveness of marketing efforts across all channels.
  • Develop strategic program briefs to drive planning across marketing campaigns.
  • Build, manage and continually develop the business' marketing technology stack, digital tools and key 3rd party resources to a) automate and modernize marketing efforts; b leverage to help scale data, insights and analytics.
  • Manage cross-functional teams within the marketing division, including collaboration with other teams to ensure a unified approach towards objectives and milestones.
  • Analyze business results and learnings to assist in developing overall business strategy with the executive team.
  • Develop strong, collaborative working relationships across the organization.
  • Lead multiple agency, partner and 3rd party relationships.

  • Proven functional and business expertise across marketing, growth and/or digital roles with 10+ years of experience
  • Experienced working with executive teams to develop/co-develop strategy, to implement key initiatives and to manage, monitor and report on key results
  • Big 3 consulting experience (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) focused on marketing and/or digital strategy preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred (Marketing focus)
  • Strong business acumen, superior analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and initiatives to drive top/bottom line growth.
  • Digitally savvy with experience developing, optimizing and tracking across efforts.
  • Strategic vision and ability to execute programs with measurable impact.
  • Proven ability leading creative agencies to build breakthrough, innovative marketing campaigns to deliver business objectives.
  • Proven ability to manage data/insights platforms to steer decision making.
  • Outstanding leader with strong cross-functional collaboration skills; proven ability to lead a multi-functional and disciplined organization.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and align stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • High-level of confidence, integrity, and executive presence to help drive towards a fast-paced, energetic and proactive organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Consumer Durables industry experience a plus, but not required.
