Senior Account Executive Digital Advertising Sales

Scope of Responsibility
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving advertising revenue through the sale of digital ads and other digital media (email, retargeting, affiliate, paid search, social, kiosk, mobile etc) on, and to brands that want to market their products and services to Sears and Kmart Members (shoppers). Sales will be focused on 3rd Party Brands as well as internal SHC clients. The overall objective is to maximize the profits generated by selling marketing/promotion campaigns that leverage the valuable digital media of our web and mobile sites, emails, social properties and kiosks. This role will report to the Director of Digital Advertising Sales.

Job Summary
The Senior Account Executive Digital Advertising Sales drives significant revenue growth by managing the sales process for digital advertising across SHC’s digital properties. This position works in partnership with third party agencies and internal associates to drive monetization. This position will be required to directly sell advertising placements to both external brands as well as internal business units.

Job Requirements

Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Work with Business Units and Director of Digital Advertising Sales for selling ad inventory/digital media on the websites pertaining to the respective BU business.
• Work with BUs and other internal teams to link monetization to business strategies.
• Work with SHC media asset owners (email, paid search, retargeting, etc) to develop comprehensive marketing campaigns for sale.
• Support Ad Agencies efforts in driving ad/digital media revenue.
• Directly sell our ad inventory/digital media to 3rd Party Brands.
• Directly sell our ad inventory/digital media to internal Business Units.
• Complete all paper work required for the revenue generated by ad/digital media sales to be appropriately booked by accounting on a monthly basis.
• Provide monthly revenue forecasts and reports.
• Perform market research to support and drive effective advertising sales.
• Works with various internal business partners to optimize the quantity and quality of our digital ad inventory across all digital assets, including technical and business analytics teams to test and assess opportunities.
• Plays a hands-on role in driving sales, generating leads and opening doors for the sales organization
• Develop a basic understanding of ad serving functions to support Ad Operations as necessary.

• Bachelor's Level Degree

Years of Related Experience
• 5 years of experience in digital media, online advertising, marketing, market research.
• 5 years in the retail and/or advertising industry. Sales experience.
