The Credit Specialist II is responsible for preventing unrecoverable loss to the company for chargebacks, and for managing all Recourse accounts to prevent chargebacks and work to recover all previous chargebacks on Recourse accounts. This position also works to recover all other Third Party chargebacks. Additionally, this position embraces current processes and new processes as developed.

Job Requirements

Reviews and resolves credit disputes received from credit card provider(s)via daily dispute report. Reviews child, and any other associated accounts, for potential misapplications of payment and to make a determination of next steps required to address uncollected chargebacks, and recommends accounts to be closed pending resolution of balances. Communicates order information related to disputes or chargebacks accurately and timely with internal and external customers . Challenges, researches and resolves all chargebacks previously processed to recover losses already faced by the company, including Third Party chargebacks. Maintains and updates records to track number of disputes received, cleared or pending, charged back, and recovered. Assists credit card providers with account reconciliation. Assists in Credit Referral process to obtain approvals on previously declined sales orders. Serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) for Recourse account holders (i.e., accounts not assigned to a Commercial Account Manager). Maintains reconciliation of On Book Receivables. Facilitates open communication with Accounts Payable, Job Superintendents, and Owners on Recourse accounts
