A growing company located in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Credit Coordinator that has experience in the area of project builder billing/ collections/reconciliations/lien waivers, as well as strong accounting knowledge. Although this position will carry additional roles and responsibilities, the primary role will be that of billing, reconciling and collecting project accounts.

Builder / Construction Billing & Lien experience with Advanced Excel skills is a must.


  • Lien Waivers and Builder Billing.
  • Monthly tracking of incoming payments from customers, builders, and braches.
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts and payment submittals from customer portals.
  • Analyzing data regarding cash differences in customers’ accounts.
  • Assist with month-end Close and will be required to prepare various excel reports.
  • Accounting and clerical duties such as filing, making collections phone calls and sending out past due correspondence.
  • Prepare analysis and/or other administrative reports, review outstanding items and exceptions.
  • Assisting the Credit Department with Credit / Collections Duties

Job Requirements

Required experience:
  • 3 – 5 years' billing, reconciliation experience in builder, construction or distribution industry.
  • Lien Wavier Experience.
  • 2-3 year general accounting experience.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, mathematical knowledge, and reasoning skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Detail oriented, reliable, motivated, self-starter, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency a must.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as work independently.
  • Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, Outlook
  • Must be detail-oriented and while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task, when required
  • Accepts responsibility and maintains high level of accountability
  • Consistently exercises logic and reasoning to assess and resolve problems
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
