Job Function: Training

The Training Team Manager is responsible for delivering specific technical and soft skills classroom training courses within a sales and support call center and directly managing associates while in training. When not facilitating training, provides support and coaching to associates and managers.

Job Requirements

• Delivers training to students as specified by training manuals
• Supervises associates, evaluates performance, coaches for improvement, and addresses deficiencies, which may include disciplinary action if needed
• Stays technically proficient in subject matter of businesses supported
• Stays proficient in instructional methods for adult learning
• Creates a positive classroom environment to develop and retain strong performers
• Creates a positive transition from classroom to work team
• Performs supervisory responsibilities, including, but not limited to: making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting,demoting, and terminating; conducting performance appraisals; and coaching and developing associates

• Ability to effectively and engagingly teach content in a classroom environment, and ability to conduct small group and one-on-one coachings for measured improvement
• Ability to be a subject matter expert in the businesses and the systems used by class participants
• Ability to use standard training delivery and office equipment such as computer, overhead projector, copier, telephone, television and video players
• Ability to lift 11-20 pounds on a regular basis, push/pull carts to move supplies from one location to another, and move office furniture to set up meeting rooms for training programs
• Ability to communicate in spoken and written English well enough to be understood by direct reports, supervisors, co-workers, and customers
• Ability to enter data and maneuver efficiently using a keyboard, operate a mouse, use telephone and headset equipment, and listen while keying information into the system
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of sitting and some standing and walking, with bending and reaching as necessary.
• Ability to demonstrate self control by maintaining composure and keeping emotions in check even in difficult situations
• All employees/associates may in the course of their duties come in contact with Credit / Debit Card Data. If this data is exposed as part of their position in the site/center, the associate must protect that data as directed and required by the compliance team to ensure the Company's compliance to current Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS)

• Bachelor s degree
• Corporate trainer experience
