The Sr. Financial Analyst will work closely with Treasury management, Cash management and FP&A for forecasting, financial reporting, process improvement, wire transfers and financial analysis for total Sears Holdings Corporation. This position will be responsible for performing financial analyses and assist with various forecasting and reporting cycles.

Job Requirements

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for Daily Inflow Forecasting
  • Responsible for Weekly Credit Card Receivable forecasting for Borrowing Base
  • Manages Daily Cash Flow Forecast for Executive level and Board members on a daily basis
  • Perform model updates/optimization
  • Assist cross-functional team members as needed with various projects
  • Manages updates for both format and non-format sales for inflow forecasting
  • Ad Hoc projects and analysis requested by Senior Management
  • Analyze and effectively communicate results
  • Create and distribute daily cash flow results and prepare communication detailing variances and forecast changes
  • Review and approve Wires and ACH transactions
  • Assist with daily cash position analysis
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-4 years of related experience

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in Financial Planning, Forecasting, Strategic Business Decision Making or Analysis
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial calculations
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills based upon financial and statistical results
  • Ability to read, interpret and communicate detailed quantitative data
  • Excellent computer skills (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Hyperion Essbase, Access)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Master's degree in related field
