Design and develop mobile applications.
• Work with iOS certificate, provisioning profile, and production release on Apple’s App Store.
• Influence the discovery and decision-making process when changes to standards and technology are required (tools, conventions and design patterns).
• Serve as a team member in the design and new technology proof of concept for applications for new technology.
• Independently develop and implement software for e-commerce applications and related technology, with minimum oversight
• Lead code reviews to ensure functional performance specifications are met and engineering standards are followed.
• Mentor Software Engineers.
• Deliver code that meets specifications, creates little to no operational support overhead and requires minimal support during development from more senior engineers.
• Create self-documenting designs and/or clearly communicate intent via comments in code, on specifications, in as-built documentation and during code reviews.
• Write unit and integration tests for each deliverable, effectively and comprehensively exercising the code; prevent the introduction of subsequent bugs, and corrects existing bugs or design issues when discovered.
• Engage with QA staff to establish testing tasks, approach and standards.
• Participate in the formulations and implementation of department processes, procedures, policies and standards.

Job Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus one (1) year of experience analyzing, designing and coding iOS mobile applications or, alternatively, a bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience as stated above. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing iOS mobile applications using Swift, Object-C, iOS SDK, Watch OS SDK, core data, and app extension; DE developing iOS mobile applications according to Agile methodologies, including Sprint/Scrum and Kanban; DE in Object Oriented design, design patterns, algorithms, data structure, complexity theory and integration with cloud based RESTful APIs; and DE developing iOS mobile applications with Xcode, continuous integration and build tools (Jenkins, Fastlane), and Git version control.
