The IAQ & Air Duct Assistant Technician SHBF is responsible for carrying out all assigned duties as instructed by the IAQ & Duct Cleaning Technician while preforming air duct cleaning services and dryer vent cleaning in the members home. The IAQ & Air Duct Assistant Technician carry in and set up equipment and tools necessary for the cleaning air vents and dryer vents throughout the residential home. The IAQ & Air Duct Assistant Technician will aide IAQ & Air Duct Technician is inventory control, directions and all other tasks necessary for successful cleaning of air ducts and dryer vents.

Scope of Responsibility:
The IAQ & Air Duct Assistant Technician SHBF assists in the successful cleaning of residential homes HVAC air duct vents and dryer vents. The IAQ & Air Duct Assistant Technician will work in a two man team and supports the IAQ & Air Duct Technician in 4 to 5 services calls each work day.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
-Transports required cleaning equipment and tools from Air Duct truck into the residential home in preparation of each job. -Returns all company owned cleaning equipment and tools to Air Duct truck and secures it for trip to next assigned appointment -Assists IAQ & Duct Cleaning Technician with directions to customer location, and serves as a spotter behind the truck during all backing maneuvers -Assists the IAQ & Duct Technician, when necessary, with the sale of as many additional services that the customer may desire, including IAQ products including filters and UV lights -Cleans truck upon return to branch -Inventories equipment assigned to vehicle and reports any discrepancies to the Interior Air Quality & Duct Cleaning Technician /Branch Manager immediately -Performs the preliminary check of truck each morning, including oil level, water level and tire pressure -Restocks supplies and ensures all tools are in truck ready for next business day -Performs other duties as assigned (LEAVE ON FOR NON-EXEMPT JOBS ONLY)
Job Requirements:- -Ability to regularly reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift up to 50 lbs. -Ability to communicate in spoken and written English well enough to be understood by supervisors, co-workers, and customers. -Ability to enter data and maneuver efficiently using a keyboard, operate a mouse, use telephone and headset equipment, and listen while keying information into the system -Ability to meet the physical requirements of frequent sitting and some standing and walking, with bending and reaching as necessary -Ability to demonstrate self control by maintaining composure and keeping emotions in check even in difficult situations -Must have general knowledge of residential air duct structures and how they relate with heating/AC systems -All employees/associates may in the course of their duties come in contact with Credit / Debit Card Data. If this data is exposed as part of their position in the site/center, the associate must protect that data as directed and required by the compliance team to ensure SHC s compliance to current Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS)
