Director, Business Intelligence owns the technology roadmap related to Business Intelligence tools and acts as a hybrid between
business solutions and an analytical developer of systems and reporting to help accomplish the organizational goals. The Director,
Business Intelligence leads an architect and development team involved in development, testing and deployment of applications.

Job Requirements

• Owns the technology roadmap and provides prioritization feedback to our technology team; clearly communicates the priorities of
the business to the technology teams, working to align their schedule with overall business goals on a weekly basis
• Presents updates on the technology roadmap to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with larger business goals; establishes and
tracks the technology roadmap to ensure the numerous projects are completed on time and meet business requirements
• Partner with clients to understand business needs and drive the development and delivery
• Leads regular check-in meetings with business and technology teams; works to gain consensus, troubleshoot blockers and move
projects forward
• Communicates roadmap to various stakeholders and works collaboratively across multiple business and technology teams to gain
consensus and align priorities to the overall needs of the Business Unit
• Understand design constraints and create elegant solutions to both present and deliver information for easy consumption
• Learn and gain deep understanding of Transformco business processes
• Define standards, procedures and best practices for web application design & development; provide L4 support for applications in
a production environment; lead re-engineering efforts for existing applications to align them with new standards and guidelines

• Bachelors Degree
• 5-10 years of related experience
• 18 years of age or older (except some locations which may allow for 16 and 17 year olds)

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics or
equivalent/related degree
• MBA Degree is plus
• 8+ years of experience in any one of the BI tools such as Looker, Microstrategy, Tableau, etc
• 5+ years of Management experience and managing team of 5-10 members
• Harness operational excellence & continuous improvement with a "can do" leadership attitude
• Fosters a collaborative relationship across the technology and business teams
• Finds creative solutions to remove blockers and keep projects on track
• People management; provide guidance to architects and development team
• Solid Architect, development experience in business intelligence tools such as Looker, Microstrategy, Tableau
• Understanding or experience in Google Cloud platform and specifically expertise in Google Bigquery

• Information system technologies
• SSIS ETL packages, KPIs and dashboards, and SSRS reports
• Hands-on query writing; data profiling/analysis and testing experience with SQL
