The Dir, Business Analytics 1 works with various business units to understand requirements, providing necessary tools, data and reporting to category owners. This position interfaces with the various operational areas in assigned business unit (Finance, Service Contracts, Operations, Repair) to provide the team with scorecards and dashboards which drive strategic decision making. This position is responsible for delivering both data transformations, analysis and data visualizations for a variety critical KPIs. The Director is responsible for acquiring, integrating, and aggregating data from a wide range of sources to support Transform HoldCo and Home Services areas.

We help users understand the data including its structure, lineage, and inherent business logic. Data is used to establish a unified ecosystem of reporting and advanced analytics that provides actionable insights for Home Services and other Transform HoldCo all business partners across the organization. Oversees a team will be required to work with business units' stakeholders to deliver the highest value deliverables by establishing, communicating and ensuring buy in for a best in class Agile process where prioritization is of the utmost criticality. The Director will manage onshore and offshore resources while serving as a critical and accountable owner for all deliveries of the team.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead a team to create, develop, and maintain a suite of predictive analytics to solve critical business problems using the best technologies available
• Serve as point-of-contact for internal departments with data sourcing, transformation and data visualization needs related to offers
• Assess the scope and resources required of various analytics projects in the company and work with leadership to help prioritize and staff projects accordingly
• Develop metrics to quantify and evaluate various business metrics
• Understand operational challenges, scope current state and baseline key performance metrics
• Assist in developing executive presentations
• Deliver timely, relevant, useful, and accurate analytics reports with data based inferences to stakeholders
• Continuously identify opportunities to better meet business needs
• Execute projects within aggressive timelines establishing and continuously improving a best in class Agile process
• Keep abreast of analytics ‘best practices” from a wide range of industries

Job Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Econometrics or equivalent/related degree a plus
• 7-10 years of experience managing analytical, reporting or technical teams with a proven track record of leveraging data analysis to drive significant business impact
• Hands on experience in data analysis, data mining and KPI metrics
• Proven interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience
• Extremely detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, pragmatism and organization skills
• Ability to work effectively in an unstructured and fast paced environment
• Ability to quickly learn and gain deep understanding of SHC business processes
• Experience in AWS Snowflake and GCP
• Experience in Tableau and other reporting tools
• SQL proficiency preferred
• Above average capabilities with basic analysis tools of Microsoft office, (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlooks, Work, & Access)
