The Director of operations will help define, plan and implement the operational direction and vision of Kenmore, including oversight across various initiatives/projects throughout the organization. Responsibilities will include assiting restructuring/turnaround and operational initiatives to reduce costs, evolve operating models and drive analytics for effective decision-making. Additionally, the individual will deliver execution using PMI methodologies and tools while leading standardization efforts to establish repeatable processes and consistent behaviors across all programs. These efforts will support the adoption of agile and lean management principles to drive and sustain performance improvement. The individual will act as a change agent to help strengthen commercial partnerships.

A track record of leading business operations, standing up Project Management Offices and supporting performance improvement efforts is critical. Prior experience engaging and presenting to executives is essential.

Job Requirements

§ Design and implement Enterprise Transformation strategies, including; Enterprise Operating Model strategies, Rapid Profit Transformation and Enterprise Cost Reduction strategies, Purpose-Led Transformation strategies, Strategic Drivers analysis, or C-suite workshop facilitation
§ Lead high impact enterprise efforts, leveraging Lean Six Sigma frameworks (e.g. DMAIC, DFSS, Kaizen, FMEA, etc.)
§ Standardize processes and workflows to increase productivity across Kenmore, including the documentation of standard work and operating procedures
§ Draft, monitor and maintain PRD's and outline key technology infrastructure requirements to steer product development and/or procurement processes
§ Collaborate across the organization to identify and solve problems with an ability to communicate at all levels, from front-line associates to executives
§ Manage key transformation workstreams and projects, including timelines to completion, follow-ups and action plans within a multi-team / multi-function environment
§ Utilize lean six sigma tools, such statistics, SPC, hypothesis testing, regression, root cause analysis, etc.
§ Design, develop and manage the portfolio/program/project operating model
§ Develop and drive commercial program/project management best practices and standards that will improve productivity, investment decision making and realize targeted business outcomes
§ Conduct and prepare for executive level meetings and readouts
§ Define and ensure use of standard methodologies, processes, PPM tools and reporting metrics (KPIs).
§ Track commercial related status, issues, risks and dependencies to ensure that process improvements are sustained and benefits are realized.
§ Pursue issue and risk resolution, communicate status and escalations to stakeholders and management
§ Develop executive and team related dashboards to communicate program information
§ Manages the design authority and change control functions of the commercial business portfolio
§ Oversees the coordination and delivery of program plans and the management of milestones related commercial partnerships
§ Responsible for the adoption of program/project management methodology

§ Minimum of 7-10 years experience across operations, project management and systems
§ Consumer durables experience preferred, but not required
§ Bachelor's Degree required; Graduate level degree preferred (MBA/PhD/MS) with a quantitative/technical focus
§ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, Certified Lean Sensei, Certified Quality Engineer, etc.
§ Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction
§ Advance expert on Microsoft Office (e.g. importing/exporting data, pivot tables, and macros.
§ Understanding of SQL queries, SharePoint, and Statistical packages (SAS, JMP or Minitab)
§ Proficiency across data and visualizations tools (Tableau, Visio, etc.)
§ Coding experience is a plus (Python, Visual Basic, C, etc.)
