Centralized Inventory Lead is responsible for scheduling, auditing, coaching, and further education of the Centralized Inventory Specialist. They will provide inventory reporting (pending tasks, markdown reports, etc.) to the field for visibility and assist Parts Program Manager with some National Inventory tasks.

Coaches, audits, and supports a team of up to 15 associates that provide centralized inventory support to up to 4,000 In-Home Technicians.

Job Requirements

  • Assists Central Inventory Specialist on resolving issues they may encounter on the phone line by researching and instructing them on the proper processes. This can include, but is not limited to, issues with replenishment shipments, processing returns, researching accurate truck stock issues, purging parts stuck in RCV or RTN bin.
  • Performs regular audits on Central Inventory Specialist consisting of the following: Full reviews for accuracy of markdowns taken through return task approval screen, use part reporting, COE markdown reporting, and sell corrections taken on the V978/LPN reporting. Listens to percentage of calls to ensure appropriate responses and interactions are occurring during each call. Reviews of phone line and reporting metrics (calls per day, average handle time, average hold time, percentage of return task approvals worked under 10 days, weekly reporting submitted to districts on time). Provides each Central Inventory Specialist weekly metric updates (calls per day, average handle time, average hold time, percentage of return task approvals worked under 10 days, weekly reporting submitted to districts on time) and audit results when completed.
  • Coaches Central Inventory Specialists on correct inventory processes or phone/chat etiquette as needed based off audit results and observations. Provides Parts Program Manager feedback on how each associate is doing and immediately escalates any performance issues to Parts Program Manager.
  • Provides weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting to the districts on Return Task Approval Markdowns, Use Part Markdowns, Cycle Count Results, AIM Dashboards, End to End Reports, ROAD Reporting, and other reporting as needed.
  • Responds to requests that come into the Region AIM email inbox. These request can include, but are not limited to, stuck RCV or RTN parts, stuck replenishment tasks, purging RTN task, issues with inventories approvals. Escalate any issues unable to resolve to Parts Program Manager for review and possible submission to Softeon.
  • Tracks completion of weekly inventory reports (V978/LPN, COE Markdowns, DTR Research), submission to districts for approval, submission to accounting, and confirmation of accounting entries.
  • Maintains vacation schedules, planning coverage for any critical tasks during those vacations. Makes daily adjustments as needed for any unplanned absences.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Highly skilled in common computer applications, web based systems, and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, solve problems, and follow directions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to guide, coach, and influence others
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Teams
