JOB SUMMARY:
The B2B Preferred Service Technician 2, In-Home supports B2B clients by providing timely and quality repairs of customers' products while maintaining high customer service. Additionally, this position promotes and sells additional products and services that directly impact the profitability of the Company. This position repairs products in the customer's home.

JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for repairing products, including Aircon-dehumidifiers, Air Conditioning, and Refrigerators (sealed systems).

REPORTS TO: Territory Manager, In-Home

Job Requirements

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible, and expert service to every customer
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments
  • Completes all Technician training elements successfully within required time frames
  • Meets key performance metrics and productivity goals as defined by the business
  • Provides knowledgeable and courteous repair service
  • Looks continuously for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience
  • Promotes and sells additional products and services authorized by B2B clients and management
  • Provides direction to a Technical Helper, as applicable
  • Receives truck stock at home if the Company vehicle is retained at the Technician's place of residence or other designated locations
  • Mentors other Technicians, as applicable
  • Maintains truck inventory within the prescribed Company guidelines and standards
  • Follows the truck maintenance schedule, and keeps a clean, organized truck
  • Drives to multiple customer homes daily to provide timely and quality repairs
  • Adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • License/certification in relevant field
  • Valid Driver License for the State of employment
  • Up to 75% travel
  • 18 years of age or older
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Ability to accurately diagnose and repair appliances and equipment in the customer's home, including communication of diagnosis and needed repairs of products to the customer in a knowledgeable and courteous manner
  • Ability to select and use basic tools or instruments to assemble, adjust, calibrate, repair, or test various products; including knowledge of basic electrical principles
  • Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including required overtime
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply written text of a technical nature in order to answer questions, solve problems, and complete job tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Transformco associates, Vendors, Third Party customers, and other outside sources (i.e., Routing, B2B client technical assistance and support centers)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to perform all services within manufacturer specifications and In-Home Technician Operating Policies including ability to read, understand, and navigate through information presented in diagram, blueprints, or other pictorial displays on the laptop computer
  • Ability to perform all procedures and work instructions according to Quality Management System (QMS) standards
  • Ability to use Tech Hub to input, access, modify, or output information; Smart Phone, Computer & Database Literacy Skills
  • Ability to apply appropriate use of security, maintenance, and safety procedures to protect Company and customer assets (truck, tools, parts, inventory, safety equipment)
  • Ability to follow appropriate industry specific regulations related to the handling of hazardous materials
  • Must have Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) License
  • Ability to constantly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs (frequently lift, carry, push or pull 50 lbs; occasionally lift, carry, push or pull 100 lbs) Page 1 of 2
